It’s Labor Day Weekend, folks! Yay yay yay!
But, a workaholic, I’m reading up on applying to Grad Schools. This is how my brain feels….
I’ve taken the GRE and don’t think I’ll take it again before applying. Next, I want everything turned into the programs by Thanksgiving Break.
It’s real life time.
What I’d like to do: Go to Social Work Graduate School to get a LCSW (Licensed Clincial Social Work degree) and become a marriage and family therapist. It’ll take two more years of school, but this is what I feel like I’ve been molded to become in my life, and I want to be prepared if I’m going to help people.
Serving people is the way I feel most satisfied in my life - I want to give to others instead of only myself. I love loving.
So, to anyone else that knows how they want to contribute to the world but has to go through Graduate School to go there, U.S. News has a helpful article:
10 Steps For Thinking About Graduate School
I hope this puts “a bug in your head” to prepare you for the rest of your academic journey. Good luck!
