My Heart and I by E. B. Browning
I. ENOUGH ! we’re tired, my heart and I. We sit beside the headstone thus, And wish that name were carved for us. – 1 Thessalonians 5:16-18
I think I need to plaster this verse all around me. I need constant reminders to rejoice and give thanks in all circumstances because they are part of God’s will for me. The Lord loves me lavishly, and he is loving me to holiness. God is good despite my circumstances.
