Hardin Home
I love my new house for many reasons.
We’ve had three snow days off of school, so (praise God!) we’ve been able to spend time just learning about each other and appreciating each other. It’s excellent timing, too, because we haven’t been with each other over the break so we’re not tired of each other :)
We rescued a fish from our male friends who live on Oak Street. Over the holidays, he survived a three-week-long fast while his three companions floated to the top of the cloudy yellow fishbowl. He’s a fighter, or as our friend Tyler said, a “liver.” His name is now EllaMartin Whiskers Hardin. We bought him a fancy fishbowl and decorations.
We took pictures in the snow.
Brooke made a dance playlist, and last night at 11:11 pm on 1-11-11, we had a dance party.
And in the past few days I’ve received three “Hardin House Mixes.”
It’s so close to five points and the North/South bus stop.
My windows let in a lot of light and have a beautiful view of our green backyard.
I FINALLY get to decorate a room to express myself.
We spend QUALITY TIME together, which is so important to me.
